Mexicali, Nogales, and Hermosillo: Overcoming Climatic Challenges In the northern part of the country, our team faced the adversities of the desert: extreme temperatures followed by unexpected tropical storms. “It was a double challenge with the weather, but our drones were resilient and delivered three flawless shows,” shares Nohemi Gómez, Design Director at Skylights Drone Show.
In Hermosillo, the weather conditions were far from ideal. Yet, the governor was not only impressed but has already committed to a show with 300 drones for the next year. Chetumal: Perseverance and Passion Amid Humidity In the south, our team embarked on a 10-hour drive to the humid jungles of Chetumal. Despite the exhaustion and challenging conditions, at 11:00 p.m., 100 drones illuminated the sky right after the Independence shout by the governor of Quintana Roo. “Fatigue and humidity affected us, but our passion for our work kept us strong until the end,” commented a team member. This event stood out not only for its flawless technical execution but for the emotional connection it forged with the audience, creating a collective memory that will last.

Mexico City’s Zócalo, a space loaded with history and symbolism, became the stage for one of the most significant shows Skylights has ever performed.
